Rangers avoid unwanted record by beating Partick Thistle
Rangers avoided making their worst start to a league campaign since 1989 as they claimed a 2-0 win over Partick Thistle at Ibrox.
The impressive Niko Kranjcar capped his best display since signing this summer as he gave Rangers the opening goal for just the third time this season.

Kranjcar had been full on trickery all afternoon but bowed out with 20 minutes left out as he ran out of steam.
There was no farewell gift, though, as his last involvement was to smash a free-kick high over Scully's bar.
