Another Georgia will arrive at Ibrox next week to join Shota Arveladze. Midfielder Malkhaz Asatiani will be given a trial after he was recommended to Alex McLeish by Shota.

The 21 year old Asatiani plays for Georgian champions Torpedo Kutaisi - scoring eight goals in 36 appearances in the last two seasons as well as staking a place in the Georgian national team.

A Georgian website says this about him -

"Malkhaz Asatiani is one of the most talented young players in the Georgian league. Asatiani plays as an attacking midfielder for Torpedo and he has recently been attracting interest from Dinamo Kiev and Tbilisi."
