World Cup Betting...

Other fancies are Italy at 5/1, Brazil at 11/2 and Spain at 13/2.

England fancy their chances, but I doubt they have the overall ability to win it, and you might want to look at the "How Far Will They Go?" area. Every possible combination is priced up. England to get knocked out in the last 16 are 9/4, 6/1 for the Quarters and 9/1 to lose the Final.

One good bet in this section is Korea to get knocked out in the 2nd Round at 15/8. They have impressed in the friendlies, will do better than normal as joint hosts and don't have the toughest group imaginable.

If you really fancy your prediction skills, how about naming the two finalists. As the World Cup is basically two 16 team tournaments with the winners meeting, this is a double. Turkey v Saudi Arabia is 10,000/1 but more likely are the Argentina v Italy (7/1) or Argentina v Spain (9/1). France v Germany is 16/1, and Brazil v Italy (Twice a final before!!) is 19/2.

In the players markets there are a lot of opportunities. Some I have picked out are:

Henry to be Player of the Tournament at 14/1 Montella to be Top Scorer at 18/1 Argentina to Win and Batistuta to be Top Scorer : 50/1 Arsenal Players to Score Most Goals 6/1

There are also tournament Specials on offer, eg Number of Goals, Number of Red Cards, Number of Yellow Cards, Number of Headed Goals, Number of Own Goals, Number of Penalties Scored, and Missed.

I could go through it all, but it would take to long. The opportunities are there for the fun bets, and the serious bets, and William Hill will be doing LIVE Betting in Running on All matches, so even if you miss the kick off, there's still time for a bet.
