Welcome to Tel-Aviv; Beaches, Bars and Bears!

Last updated : 05 February 2007 By telavivcity.com

It all started a few weeks ago, when we noticed quite a few entries to our site from a yet to be known site: www.followfollow.com.

"Of course" we said, Hapoel are playing Rangers on February! Knowing the reputation of the Scots as devoted supporters and as equally devoted drinkers, we thought we'll try to make your stay a bit more fun.

Truth to be told, Israel does not get good PR these days (or ever, actually) and so many people don't get to know the real Israel, especially Tel Aviv. To anyone who has been here (and somehow managed to leave) it's clear that Tel-Aviv is one of the most Lively cities in the world.

True to it's slogan of a "non-stop city" With hundreds of bars, coffees, culture Venus and what not, you can seriously lose track of time while here. But how does a visitor or a loyal supporter get around town? That's where we kick in.

After a few trips by members of the site around the world, we got the idea that what's missing is a guide that gives you the local point of view, so we did just that. Telavivcity Is the most comprehensive guide to Tel-Aviv. We give you the same info (almost) as we give our local users (with a few mistakes in translation, but hey, that's part of our charm!)

OK, what does all this have to do with you? Quite simple: We've used our contacts in town, and arranged quite a few places that are welcoming Rangers supporters with special treats. All you have to do is show up and enjoy their hospitality.

Over 10 bars & live music Venues (if you'd like to check out the local talent) are participating. The Venues are located all over town so you can spot your hotel on our map and plan your bar-crawl accordingly.

Enough said - simply visit http://www.telavivcity.com/eng/rangers.asp and have fun.

And feel free to email us at contact@telavivcity.com about anything...

Slainte!!
