Wednesday prospects at Royal Ascot

The first two races on Wednesday look very open indeed so we'll quickly
move on.

The feature race is the Prince of Wales Stakes, favourite being the
Godolphin trained Moon Ballad principally on his devastating show on sand
in Dubai in March. Grandera won this race last year and is expected to run
well again. Nayef was favourite for the race won by Moon Ballad in Dubai
and may have a better chance on turf whilst Falbrav is underestimated and
should also run well.

The Royal Hunt Cup at 4.20 is the usual cavalry charge. Zonargem looks just
the type for a race like this and Norton usually runs well in these big
handicaps. However, I have received good information about SHOT TO FAME,
who is currently about the 33/1 mark and hopefully he'll give us a good run
for our money.

The Ascot Stakes at 4.55 is a race much coveted by champion NH trainer MC
Pipe. He has a few entries most of which have a sound chance including
Sindapour and Don Fernando. Two more to consider are Bid for Fame and my
personal idea of the most likely winner Mana D'Argent who has an excellent
record at Ascot.

The final race on the card is the Chesham Stakes for 2YO's over 7F. This
represents our best bet of the day in PEARL OF LOVE trained like Mana
D'Argent by Mark Johnston. Johnston has a particularly good record at the
Royal Meeting and I am more than hopeful that Pearl of Love will add to his
winning statistics.
