Trust Calls for fair play on SPL Fixtures

The Trust statement reads:-

"We would like to avoid a repeat of last year's fixtures, where Rangers fans were sent to Aberdeen and Inverness two days either side of Christmas.  While we appreciate that television commitments may play a large part in the modern game, to ask fans to make journeys of that magnitude, at a time when many families' finances are already stretched, is not in the best interests of the game.
"The Rangers Supporters Trust call on the SPL to reduce, as much as possible, the distance travelling fans will have to make and try to make fixtures as 'local' as possible during the festive season."
