Walters would welcome a job with open arms
As well as Paul Gascoigne's application to manage Exeter City several more Rangers old boys are involved in managerial speculation.

Ian McCall, currently in charge of Falkirk is competing with Walter Smith and Richard Gough for the managers chair at Dundee United.

And Rangers great Mark Walters, currently working part-time with the Aston Villa youth team, has revealed he is "Looking for a full-time job. I inquired about the St Mirren job. I have my A and B licences from UEFA but I haven't been coaching long and I'd love to give it a go."
