TENNENT'S SCOTTISH CUP THIRD ROUND DRAW ON SATURDAY

The draw will be held at Meadowbank Stadium, after the Edinburgh City v
Stirling Albion match. David Taylor, SFA Chief Executive, will preside,
and making the draw will be Alex Smith, cup winning manager in 1987 (St
Mirren) and 1990 (Aberdeen), together with Adrian Sprott, who featured
in two of the greatest cup shocks of recent times, Hamilton's win over
Rangers in 1987 and Stenhousemuir's defeat of Aberdeen in 1995.

In the draw will be all 12 clubs in the Scottish Premier League, all 10
clubs in the First Division of the Scottish Football League, and the 10
clubs which have qualified from the Second Round. The numbers for the
draw are as follows:

In advance of the draw, tomorrow also sees the second round of the
Tennent's Scottish Cup, as 20 clubs fight it out for a place among the
big names in the third round draw.

There will be at least one non-league team in the third round, as
Deveronvale face Fraserburgh, but there are also opportunities for
Buckie, Annan, Edinburgh City, Edinburgh University and Preston Athletic
to create a cup shock against Scottish League opposition.

The second round ties on Saturday, 9 December are as follows, with
possible replay dates in brackets:
