"REGARDING the furore caused by the article Danger: Yobs at Work I would like to hold my hands up to the fact that the date printed of that Rangers-Celtic game in The Sun was WRONG. It was a mistake and mistakes happen.
"What I do NOT apologise for is stating that it happened to Bobo Balde in an Old Firm game because it DID.
"As for Mark Walters I am also aware he was abused at Celtic Park but the intention was to show that no club could be complacent about any aspect of their fans' conduct - that's why cases were highlighted not just from the Old Firm but from Hearts to Dundee to Aberdeen, Motherwell and the rest.
"I have already apologised for the factual error on both Real Radio and now here - I hope that closes the matter."
