Kempton 2.55 sees Hunters Tweed attempting to follow up his recent
Cheltenham victory over a longer trip. He must have an excellent chance
along with Gunther McBride and likely favourite Irish Hussar from the big
race stable of Nicky Henderson.
The 2.25 at Haydock is a bit of a National trial with Tyneandtyneagain
trying to maintain his recent excellent form, Joe Blake the ex-hunter from
Northern Ireland now trained by Lenny Lungo and my choice Artic Jack. Artic
Jack loves the course, loves the fences and his frontrunning style should
make him hard to beat.
Another couple to bear in mind are Moulin Riche in the 1.50 at Kempton and
Armaturk in the 1.25 at Haydock.
