RST meets Sports Minister and MPs

During the visit. which was sponsored by the MP for Glasgow South West Ian Davidson, the RST delegation met with both Scottish and English MPs including members of the Co-operative, the Scottish Football and the Football groups of MPs.
A wide variety of topics were covered including football finance, corporate governance and genuine supporter representation in clubs.

At a later meeting with the Sports Minister, Richard Caborn, the financing of football clubs; the Independent Group report on European Football; and the role of UEFA were discussed.

A further series of meetings will be held early in the new year.
