They are expecting to do this on Wednesday 28th July. This will result in the sites being down for potentially as long as 72 hours, hopefully less if all goes very well.
This is not a situation we are happy about but there is little that can be done to avoid it, it must happen at some point. It is better to bite the bullet now rather than letting things be delayed further.
This is a short term change which in the long term will be an overall gain because the new hosting site is infinitely more sophisticated than the existing office infrastructure and offers much greater resilience against power or network interruptions.
