Rangers chalked up their second successive Youth League win at Auchenhowie earlier today with a 4-0 win over Dunfermline Athletic.

With just one change from the narrow win over Aberdeen (Richard White replacing Callum Reidford in goal) the Ibrox youngsters made a positive start and had the points wrapped up inside the opening twenty minutes.

A slide-rule pass from Alan Hutton released Tom Brighton who swept the ball home in eight minutes to give Rangers the lead.

There was no stopping the League Champions - and after Darryl Duffy's effort missed the target by inches a foul on Ross McCormack gave Rangers the opportunity to go two up from the spot.

McCormack himself converted the resultant penalty, and within two minutes it was 3-0 when McCormack turned provider, his pass finding Bob Davidson who made no mistake.

The 'Gers were on easy street, and took their foot off the accelerator, with the result that the interval arrived with the scoreline unchanged.

There was just the one goal in the second-half, a Daniel Fortunato cross on the hour finding Alan Hutton who blasted the ball home.
