Dodds Double
Rangers chalked up their third successive win over Dunfermline inside as many days at Dumbarton this evening with a 3-0 win in the SPL Under-21 League.

Russell Latapy it was who opened the scoring in the fourteenth minute when he burst through the middle to slot the ball home.

Nine minutes later it was 2-0 when Peter Leven's inswinging free-kick was volleyed home by Billy Dodds.

For long spells of the game Rangers appeared content with a two-goal lead, even when Dunfermline were reduced to ten men when David Nicholls received a second yellow card.

With four minutes remaining however a mazy run by Latapy took him clear of the Pars' defence only to miss-time his attempted chip. Nevertheless Dodds followed up to scramble the ball home for goal number three.
