Rangers first visit to the new St Mirren Park, and CL Q-Finals

Rangers are currently a best 9/5 at extrabet to re-gain the SPL title, and if they are to do that, they need a win in this fixture.

Well, win they might, but I doubt you'll get rich off it, with a poor looking 1/2 the best price going at PaddyPower. Boylesports offer best prices on the other two results (7/2 the draw, 15/2 St Mirren).

With so many players unavailable to play, maybe first scorer could be the route to go on. Boyd is 7/2 with Ladbrokes, Novo is 5/1 with bet365 and Mendes is 14/1 with Ladbrokes. I notice some bookies still have Miller, McCulloch and Ferguson in their markets! Billy Mehmet is probably the biggest threat from the home side, he's at 10/1 with bet365.

I've stated before that i prefer looking at the HT-FT market than take the odds on us winning. A Rangers-Rangers HT-FT is best at 13/10 with PaddyPower, a Draw-Rangers is 7/2 with Stan James, and the St.Mirren-Rangers bet is 28/1 with the tote.

Someone on the messageboard pointed out we have gone a long time away from home without conceding a goal. On Wednesday we are 6/4 with BlueSq to win to nil.

Correct score is always a dodgy bet, but some possible outcomes are 1-0 to Rangers (6/1 tote), 1-0 to St Mirren (22/1 with Bluesq) or 3-0 to Rangers (10/1 bluesq).

The CL Q-Finals begin this week. Man Utd are only 2/5 (all over) to beat Porto, and if you fancy a wee upset Boylesports are 9/1 for the visitors.
Villareal had a bad result at the weekend, and are 15/8 to beat Arsenal. The Gunners are a best 7/4.

Barcelona were not at their best on Saturday, but won, and face Bayern, who lost 5-1 in the Bundesliga. It's only 4/9 for Barca, but it looks nailed on.

The closest game is at Anfield, where Liverpool (11/8) play Chelsea(11/4). A draw is 11/5. No goalscorer is 7/1 with Boylesports (always take that as opposed to 0-0 correct score). Betfred are the best odds, but 1/2 for under 2½ goals is a little low.

Whatever you decide on, all the best, and Happy Punting.
