ORANGE ORDER SELLS SHARES IN RANGERS TO MEMBERS AND SUPPORTERS

Last updated : 25 May 2004 By Grandmaster Suck

The Grand Orange Lodge of Scotland is selling its shares in Rangers Football Club to its members and supporters.

The cost of a share will be only £20 - which compares favourably with the £15-£17 a single share would normally cost from a stockbroker due to transaction fees - and in addition you get a full colour personalised transfer certificate (suitable for framing) bearing the Grand Lodge of Scotland emblem and seal and authentication signature from the Grand Master.

NB - you can still participate and receive the Orange certificate even if you are not a member of the Order.

The Orange Institution has held shares from many years, and will continue to do so, but has decided to make this special share release to it’s membership, their families and friends to free up funds and were advised by the Rangers Supporters Trust to do so in a way which expands the number of individual Rangers fans holding shares in the club and hopefully taking an active interest in the club’s affairs.

To obtain an application form for the shares and certificates please send a note of your name and address to:-
