To Be Announced.

William Wilton would win only two, first OF league encounter of the season at CP. And they came about in 1898/99 and 1910/11.

William Struth would also grab first league encounter wins at CP in 1922, 1924, 1926, 1928, 1944, 1946 and 1948.

Scot Symon would start off with first OF away league wins at CP in 1956/57, 1960/61 and 1962/63.

Davie White did it in 1968/69 as we have seen and Jock Wallace would achieve this in season 74/75.

John Greig as noted started off season 1980/81 with a CP victory. And Walter also did it in 1995/96. He almost certainly would have did it again in season 1997/98 but a car crash in Paris at the end of August put paid to that one.

With the exception of the Davie White and John Greig victories, all these other first league wins of the season at CP were the springboard to ultimate title success.

Over to you Monsieur Le Guen!
