New issue of the Rangers Historian

Last updated : 07 May 2009 By Grandmaster Suck

It's pages are filled with plenty of information about the club.
This issue has articles on Sam English and a look back at how the
centenary of his birth was celebrated and includes a detailed look at
the famous 1931-32 league season when Sam scored his record 44 league
goals. Also included is an analysis of his complete professional
career.

The Scottish Cup Final upcoming against Falkirk has caught the
editors attention and has produced an analysis of previous encounters.

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay's Rangers career is put under the
microscope.

Kris Boyd's goal against East Fife in the League Cup back in
September 2007 was his 50th in just 75 appearances in Rangers
colours. The Historian compares previous examples - Sam English did
it in just 39 games, Ally McCoist in 103 (as did Rod Wallace). The
next issue will look at 100 goalscorers.
