Linfield have delved into the transfer market to capture four new
players before Saturday's transfer deadline. Blues boss David Jeffrey has
agreed deals with former Rangers midfield pair Paul McKnight and Ryan
McCann.

He has also managed to bring former Sunderland goalkeeper Gregg
Shannon and ex-Cliftonville winger Pat Wall to Windsor Park.

Wall, who impressed in the Premier League last season, was a free agent after his contract with the Reds expired at the end of the campaign. Jeffrey will hope
the new faces will inject some life into his side after a poor start to the
new season. The Blues have only one league point from two games, after
losing to Institute and drawing with Omagh, and are out of the Uefa Cup.
