This will mean sailing times are reduced by nearly 20 minutes due to not having to travel as far up the Lough.

To get to the new docks from the City centre follow signs for the M2. When you reach the M2 take the first junction for 'Shore Road/Duncrue Industrial Estate'. When you get to the roundabout, take the third exit heading for 'Docks'.

Pass the first set of traffic lights and keep going. You will reach a stop for the Harbour Police. This isn't generally in operation but may start to be due to the boat. Keep straight through the traffic lights and keep in the left lane where you will come up to another set of traffic lights, where you must go left. If you follow the road to its end you will come to the new terminal. You will pass a 'Centra' supermarket and the 'Norfolk Line' building.

If you are traveling down the M2 take the junction for 'Shore Road/Duncrue Industrial Estate' and take the first exit on your left.

The opening day is next Wednesday when many Bears will be traveling to the Motherwell match so make sure you leave early in case there are delays with check in and boarding. Also make sure the bus drivers know as I wouldn't want a bus of irate Bears missing the boat because of this.

I contacted Stena Line and they assured me there would be new signage from the M2 in both directions making people aware of the new directions.
