Hubbard and Simpson Tribute Night

Last updated : 22 June 2009 By Grandmaster Suck
The Stonefield is having a Tribute Night for Rangers greats Johnny Hubbard and Billy Simpson.

The two old pals played for Rangers in the 50s - Johnny was known as the "Penalty King" and Johnny was often our top scorer. Both still attend every Ibrox home match.

Bomber Brown will be there to make sure the night goes with a swing and of course Johnny and Billy will be there to tell a few stories of old Ibrox.

We're looking for donations for the doo if you can help with the raffle - and tickets for the night will cost just £5.

Tickets are available from the pub direct or PM mine host pdee - http://forum.followfollow.com/member.php?u=34522 - and he will arrange payment and get the tickets posted to you.

If purchasing by post - Stonefield Tavern, 225 Glasgow Road, Blantyre, G72 0YS. Cheques to be made payable to Stonefield Tavern.

Johnny and Billy meet the management in the Garvagh Rangers Club, County Londonderry!
