We've taken over the Drayton Park pub right outside the Emirates Stadium for the weekend with mucho entertainment on hand with drinkies and food. The FF sound system will provide the entertainment.
The Drayton is the traditional 'away pub' at the ground and the stadium is literally across the road from it.
Last year some areas around White Hart Lane were designated as no-drinking zones and with that a possibility for the Emirates this year and the numbers going down we thought we'd take no chances!
A Weekender ticket will provide entry from 10am on Saturday until last orders at 11 and drinking up til midnight. The pub will shut for an hour to re-stock and clean up at 2pm when Rangers take on PSG on the Saturday. On Sunday we play Arsenal at 4pm and we envisage the party formally lasting until about 8 that night before folks head for home.
We've been down and checked the pub out and both the landlord and the police are happy with the arrangement. Hopefully by then the pub's lime green pain job will have been restored to it's traditional Arsenal red. There's a beer garden attached to the pub so hopefully the weather will be kind and allow a BBQ as well. Accompanied kids are allowed until 5. If we get mega busy there's a small overflow lounge upstairs too.
