Betting on the trip to Easter Road

Prior to Celtic's match v Dundee Utd, we are 8/13 (skybet) to win the SPL. If Utd get anything at parkhead that will be even shorter. In fact if Utd get anything a victory at Hibs will see us only needing to beat Aberdeen on Saturday to clinch the title. If that doesn't give our players some motivation, I don't know what will.

So after the euphoria of Saturday, it's time to knuckle down. 4/7 (hills) is the best price available, and to be fair, that's not bad. A draw is 3/1(tote, extrabet) and a home win is 6/1(betfred, skybet and expekt).

Any regular reader of this column will know I like the HT-FT options. The first match at Easter Rd saw a Rangers-Rangers success (6/4, Hills), whereas the most recent match was draw-Rangers (7/2, Ladbrokes). 28/1 (tote) will be the price if you fancy the Hibs-Rangers option.

Correct Score can be lucrative, but then I fancied 2-0 on Saturday! That result on Wednesday is 13/2 (paddypower), 1-0 is 6/1 (most places), and 3-0 is 12/1 (hills).

First Goalscorer market is interesting. Kris Boyd is only 4/1 (a few bookies), Kenny Miller is 5/1 (a few again), Andrius Velicka is 11/2 (paddypower), Kyle Lafferty is 8/1 (skybet) and Saturday's hero, Steve Davis, is 16/1 (bet365). Ex-ger Jonatan Johannson is 16/1 at Stanjames.
