Youth Cup Action This Weekend

Last updated : 15 December 2005 By Grandmaster Suck
Inverness CT (3-2 v Motherwell) and Ross County (2-0 v Hamilton) have
already won their ties to reach the quarter finals, while Aberdeen go
straight through after Elgin City withdrew, so there will be a heavy
north of Scotland involvement in the latter stages of the competition.

Pick of the games on Sunday is the Edinburgh derby between Hearts and
Hibs, to be played at Tynecastle. There will also be keenly fought
fixtures at Love Street, McDiarmid Park, Tannadice and Ochilview, where
Stenhousemuir find themselves reinstated in the competition despite
having lost 2-1 in the third round to Gretna, as the Borders club was
disqualified for listing two ineligible players.

SFA Youth Cup 4th round ties for Sunday, 18 December:
St Mirren v Cowdenbeath, 1.30 pm
St Johnstone v Celtic, 1 pm
Heart of Midlothian v Hibernian, 1 pm
Dundee United v Rangers, 1 pm
Stenhousemuir v Livingston, 1 pm
