Young Ranger stars in U17 international victories over Northern Ireland

The Scotland U17 team played a double header against Northern Ireland this week - on Monday at the Coleraine Showgrounds and on Wednesday at Limavady.

Northern Ireland 0 Scotland 1 - played at Coleraine.

In the second-half goal by Rangers' Ross McCormack earned Scotland victory McCormack raced through the centre of the home defence to beat keeper Feargal Murphy after 61 minutes.

An unchanged starting 11 took the field at Limavady and set themselves up nicely for next month¹s UEFA qualification games with goals from Charles Mulgrew of Celtic open the scoring in 26 minutes, Michele Lombardi of Aberdeen in 48 minutes, and Chelsea's Kevin McKinlay in 61 minutes.
