U-21 Report

Livi 1 Rangers 2

Livi had the upper hand in the first half, although it was all-square at
half time.

20 mins - Brittain penalty for Livi after Burke brought down Camacho in the
box.

33 mins - Livi's McNamee tripped Brighton, and McLean scored from the spot.

After half time the game was much tighter with Rangers having the better
chances.

McLean was denied twice by Livi keeper Creer, before Burke scored the
winning goal with fifteen minutes to go - a powerful twenty-five yarder.

Daniele Fortunato, who came on at half time for Lovenkrands, was
stretchered off with aboout ten minutes to go after a tackle from Brittain.

None of the Rangers new signings were particularly impressive, although I
can tell you that Bonnissel was utterly gash :0)

Rangers side was: McGregor (Smith HT), Hutton, Bonnissel, Eggen, Dowie,
Konterman, Nerlinger, Lovenkrands (Fortunato HT (Dobbie 80)), McLean,
Burke, Brighton. Subs not used - Walker, Leven.

Pick of the Rangers side for me was Brighton.
