This weekend's Fab Four

SPL-Aberdeen v HIBERNIAN 7/4

Aberdeen one spot behind third-placed Hibs must fancy their chances in this one as they are riding on the crest of three straight wins against Livi, Dundee Utd and last v Killie. On the other hand the visitors have two straight defeats against ICT and Celtic to recover from. But Hibs have a young and resilient side and a season-long record that shows only two sides have taken full points off them outwith the Old Firm and the Dons have been duly spanked home and away previously.

SPL-Livingstone v MOTHERWELL 11/8

The battle of tactics between the ex-Rangers captains that manage these clubs will surely have the more experienced Butcher come out tops over Gough who is still learning his trade at Livingstone. Decent draws v Hibs and Dunfermline (Away) plus victory against Hearts and Dundee Utd is solid enough form for the Steel Men’s past four games. Although Livi managed to pull off a fine 3-1 victory versus Kilmarnock last week this was at the tail end of ten games without a win including seven straight defeats in-a-row before that rare win.

SFL2- Alloa v BRECHIN CITY 21/20

Only two wins in the last six games has pushed Alloa down to 5th place and doesn’t inspire much confidence for the visit of the league leaders Brechin, who have lost only two in their last eight , and City’s 2-1 win against 2nd-placed challengers Stranraer last week will ensure that tails will be well up and wagging for the champions-in-waiting visit to Alloa.

SFL2-FORFAR 5/4 v Dumbarton

Eighth-placed Forfar are starting to pick up a little form with two fine wins on the trot and can surely make that three at home to a hapless Dumbarton who although one spot above them have not had a win over the same period although a 1-1 draw against the league leaders two weeks ago is not to be sniffed at, their poor away form should ensure that the Loons come away with all three points.

Suggested bet: Perm all four trebles plus the foursome @ £1 per unit =£5.00 total stake.
