The Weekend's Horseracing

The Tatling may not be available at a big price but he should win the 2.05 at Kempton. He has quite a bit in hand on the official figures and is a very consistent horse. If he doesn’t line up it could be close between Boogie Street, Lochridge and one or two others. My preference then would be Lochridge.

The same case can be made for Fantastic View in the 2.40. He disappointed connections at Newmarket but they know he is much better than he showed on that occasion. The step down in class should enable him to gain a confidence boosting win. If he doesn’t take his place in the field then Azerole could hold of the challenges from Tahreeb and Leicester Square.

Musselburgh has it’s main race of the season on Saturday the Victor Chandler Scottish Sprint Cup over the sharp 5 furlongs at 2.20. I especially like the look of Raccoon here. I was at Haydock on Saturday when he ran out a most impressive winner of a competitive sprint. He has been put up 10lbs for that victory but he looked a horse on the upgrade and he can pay to follow. Confidence would be even higher should he get a low draw near the stands rail.
