An interesting pointer from the anoraks point of view was the way the winners and losers grouped themselves in the forecasts. Taking all fourteen predictions together, we had three losers in the SPL, and all four forecasts in the Scottish leagues went mammarys skyward. Against this was a straight seven all-correct in the English Nationwide leagues. Any punter who kept his bets within these divisions would have lucked out 100% any way up.



Perhaps that may be taken as an omen for this weekend, as the fixture list is drastically reduced due to international football. Basically all we have is the Nationwide, so just this once the Fab Four will be dropped in favour of a “take your pick” from the matches that offer evens and above.
