The Fab Four - Betting Advice for the weekend

Last updated : 21 November 2003 By Bear Able
Good news for some singles and doubles punters but not for the foursome fans
eager to add to their clean sweep of a fortnight ago.

So let's hope for at least a treble from this weeks
funsome forecast.

This weeks Fab Four:

SPL HEARTS EVS v Hibernian (Playing SUNDAY)

After seeing off Partick (A 4-1), Livingstone (H 3-1)
and Aberdeen (A 1-0) third place Hearts are looking
for their fourth straight league win in-a-row. They
play hosts to their city rivals Hibs who are
struggling in 7thth after only four wins from twelve
games.

SPL MOTHERWELL EVS v Livingstone

Livingstone are alongside Hibs with 16 points and like
their neighbours Hibs, this can be put down to only
managing four wins from twelve games. They did manage
a rare (2-0) victory last week albeit against bottom
of the league Partick thistle.

They visit Fir Park and face a Motherwell side that
(despite being a game short) remain in fourth place
courtesy of a nine straight games with only one single
defeat which came at Parkhead back in September.

SPL Partick v KILMARNOCK 5/4

As the only team in UK senior football to have gone
thus far in the league without a win, bottom of the
table Thistles relegation prospects appear to be
confirmed even at this early stage in the season.

They host a struggling Killie side in 9th place who
are on a run of three losses in a row, two of which
were against Glasgow's Big Two. Before this Killie
only managed three victories from their first nine
starts. Still that's three more wins than Thistle, so
this could be another rare opportunity for Killie to
gain all points.

SFL Div 1 Clyde v QUEEN OF THE SOUTH 5/4

League leaders Queens form this season just looks a
little too much for the Bully Wee to cope with. Their
sole defeat in the past eight games was a narrow 1-0
away loss to fellow challengers Ross county almost a
month ago.

Their hosts have had only three wins over the same
period, and despite home advantage the Dumfriesshire
Championship train is looking unstoppable at the
moment.

Suggested Bet: Perm 4 x £1.00 trebles + £1.00
fourfold=£5.00 total stake.

Trebles Return:

Hearts\Motherwell\Kilmarnock returns = £9.00

Hearts\Motherwell\ QOS returns = £9.00
