Scotland Hosts UEFA U17 Qualifiers

Last updated : 15 October 2004 By Grandmaster Suck

Scotland coach Ross Mathie has been preparing for this tournament with
his players, born in 1988, who have already taken part in six matches
this season. He said: "Preparation is the key, and they really need to
know what to expect from international football. We work very hard with
the boys, not just on their technical skills but on their all-round
education in football, from dealing with the media to good diet and
nutrition."

The tournament kicks off at the new Falkirk Stadium on Monday evening,
and admission to all matches is just 5 pounds for adults and 2 pounds
for children.
