Saturday's Horses

The main racing on Saturday is at Ascot. If LIBERMAN runs in the first he should win but he won't be much of a price.

The main race on the card is at 2.10 and features many of last season's leading novice chasers. If the field holds up it should be a cracking race. One of my horses to follow for this year may run, he is Hand Inn Hand. However, it was reported earlier in the week that he would probably run in a hurdle race elsewhere unless the rain arrived in time.

If he does run he should be a good price. If he doesn't run it will still be an excellent race with the likes of Le Roi Miguel, La Landiere, Impek, Isio, Tarxien and my two next most likely winners Farmer Jack and Telemoss in the field. So if Hand Inn Hand runs I'll be on him if he doesn't I'll be on Telemoss.

Huntingdon hosts BEST MATE'S first run of the season in the Peterborough Chase he surely needs only to stand up to win although there may be one or two decent animals against him.

HOWLE HILL is entered in several races at the weekend and if he is given the green light to run he could well follow up his excellent first win over hurdles.

Aintree features on both Saturday and Sunday with the better betting propositions on the Sunday.

MISTY FUTURE is improving quickly and goes for the hattrick in the 1.40 and GUNTHER McBRIDE looks tailor made for the National fences in the Beecher Chase at 2.45. This is quite competitive and he will also need luck in running, however, his running style should suit the course and if he gets into a decent rhythm he will prove difficult to stop.
