Saturday's Horse Racing Advice

It's actually quite a poor renewal in terms of quality. King's Mistral has a really good record at the course but may not have the quality for such a race. Shardam ran well enough at the festival but again didn't set the pulse racing. Stormez was very disappointing at Ayr last week and can't be backed with any confidence at the moment.

Almost by process of elimination I have settled on Rule Supreme who won the SunAlliance chase at Cheltenham. He faired less well last time out when a series of errors resulted in a fall at Aintree. However, if he stands up he must have a good chance.

Feel The Pride could follow up his ready win last week at Ayr if allowed to take his chance in the opener at 1.45.

The QM Celebration chase at 2.20 looks very interesting. Cenkos is best in at the weights but is not running well at all. Seebald came right back to his best to win last time and Well Chief is an interesting runner as he is still only a novice. McCoy will have the choice of the latter two if they both run. It's probably best to trust him to get it right.

Three others to consider are Ikhtyar in the 2.55 at Sandown, Soyuz, if he can be bothered putting it in, in the 4.45 Sandown and Summitville in the 4.20 at Ripon. She was quite highly tried last year and with her trainer being in good form she could be the one here.
