Lets hope the predicted frosts don’t arrive. The 12.35 at Haydock gives Astronomic a chance to get back to winning ways after his recent fall. If he is none the worse then he should collect here.
The 1.10 see Astronomic’s stablemate Inglis Drever try to put himself back in the Champion Hurdle picture. He should win this if he has any pretensions at the Champion itself. Royal Shakespeare should give him most to do. Our old friend The French Furze could run well at a bigger price.
The 2.10 gives Lord Transcend a big chance at the weights. He has a low weight on bad ground and it could pay to forgive him his poor jumping at Wetherby last time. Chives is the most likely to benefit should Lord Transcend’s jumping deteriorate again.
The 1.55 at Uttoxeter could go to Contraband. Ashley Brook and Kadountare other young chasers on the upgrade but I’ll leave this to M Pipe.
