Having reached the finals through their magnificent efforts in last
summer's UEFA Under 19 tournament, Scotland will be among the top seeds
for the FIFA tournament.

Scotland national youth coach Archie Knox will attend the Official Draw
for the FIFA U-20 World Cup Canada 2007, which will take place at the
Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex in Toronto. It will be broadcast
live from coast to coast by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC),
from 4.30 pm local time (9.30 pm in the UK) on CBC Sports Weekend. Fans
worldwide will also be able to follow the draw live on the internet
exclusively via FIFA.com.

The Official Draw sets the stage for the competition by determining the
opponents that each team will face during the group stage as well as
identifying the venue and date for each match.

The full list of 24 qualified teams for the FIFA U-20 World Cup is as
follows:

Host: Canada
AFC: Japan, Jordan, Korea DPR and Korea Republic
CAF: Congo, Gambia, Nigeria and Zambia
CONCACAF: Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama and USA
CONMEBOL: Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay
OFC: New Zealand
UEFA: Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Scotland.

The tournament starts in Canada on 30 June.
