Remember David Cooper On Sunday - But Remember To Enjoy Yourself Too

The fans and the club's employees have done a great job building this
final up. Sadly, Davie wasn't with us for longer - to enjoy as a
player the full run of the Nine In A Row years.

Their are two main reasons we remember Davie Cooper so fondly - he
was one of us and he played the game the way it should be played. I
don't get carried away by claiming that the Coop was the greatest
ever Ranger - but he stuck by the club he loved when he had offers to
go elsewhere. I think that's why he was so loved - he stayed and
fought - he put the club above himself.

On Sunday I'll be crying no tears - I'll be a little sad that he
isn't with us but I be remembering Davie's skills and the good times
he shared with us.

Sunday is about the same sort of things that Davie displayed as a
player - let's mirror his skills and extrovert displays by getting
behind the Blue Order's fan display - take confetti and bogs rolls
and blast them into the air as the teams come onto the pitch. And
get behind the team while appreciating the skills of the opposition
in a sportsmanlike manner.

Let the whole day, win or lose, be a tribute to Davie and the sort of
football he exemplified.
