If you are a current Scotland International last night is a massive insult.

What Levein is essentially saying with last night's tactics, formation and instructions is "you aren't good enough".

He is saying that players who play in the Champions League, and the EPL, are so poor that the only way they can be sent out to play a weak Czech side is to a tactical plan that we see San Marino adopting when they play the likes of Spain, Germany and England.

You may remember from the World Cup that even New Zealand played against Italy with one man up top and two breaking from midfield on counter attack.

Last night was an insult to good pro footballers all of whom are far far better than that utterly constipated, unimaginative man Levein clearly believes. I hope that to a man they wake up this morning thinking.. "you know what? I am ****ing better than that." Because they are, and it's time we stopped strangling the life out of them in games like last night.

If Levein is on a mission to totally emasculate our national game, and strip us of any last vestige of pride and hope we had remaining, he is doing a fine fine job.

Barry Ferguson and Allan McGregor were banned for life for supposedly insulting the entire Scottish nation. On a comparative scale of offence, Levein should be banned for life and all potential reincarnations and deported to Siberia for a shift in a salt mine.

Last night was unforgivable, and for the players demonstrated a shameful lack of faith and trust.
