Visitors Accies left the Strathclyde Homes Stadium today with the three points after a convincing win against a Sons side who look a good bet for relegation, even with only a quarter of the season gone.

The hefty £10 entrance fee was levelled out by a very reasonable £4.40 bill for two pies and three cups of juice, especially considering the quality of the savoury products in comparison to the poor fayre on offer at Ibrox Stadium these days.

Prior to kick-off the supporters were treated to an uninspired display by the Dumbarton match mascot, a man dressed up in an elephant costume with last season's strip on. Nobody seemed to know the name of the mascot so we decided just to call him Davie Dodds.

Much better entertainment was on the way however, as one of the mentally deficient Sons fans, a fat man of around 50 years of age, proceeded to shout "WAY-HEY" at an incredibly loud volume as each name on the home side's team sheet was read out, and just after kick off it was agreed that the steep admission costs had been totally justified as another home scoper took a seizure with around five minutes on the clock and had to be carted away by paramedics much to the amusement of the visiting SM clan.

With 20 minutes to go and the home side 3-0 down, the loud Dumbarton mongo announced at air-horn volume, "That's it, I'm off!" and stormed towards the exit where he stood until the final whistle, facing away from the pitch and waiting on his carer who sat in his seat, refusing to budge.

Other than that, Dumbarton were abysmal and Hamilton could have won by twice the eventual margin.
