Cup Journey Starts On Saturday

There are some cracking ties in prospect both in the north and the south, from the north coast to the Borders.

In the North competition, cup holders Inverurie Loco Works have
chartered an aircraft to take them to their tie at Wick, while league
leaders Forres Mechanics have a home tie to Brora Rangers. The only
non-Highland League team in the draw, Golspie Sutherland, will fancy
their chances at home to Lossiemouth.

In the South Cup, there are just four games in a Preliminary Round, but
both of last season's finalists have ties. Cup holders Whitehill Welfare
travel to Innerleithen to face Vale of Leithen, while runners-up
Edinburgh City take on Gala Fairydean at Meadowbank.

The semi-finalists in each competition qualify for the Tennent's
Scottish Cup.
