CLELAND JOINS EAST STIRLING

Former Rangers and Everton defender Alex Cleland been appointed assistant manager at East Stirling.

Cleland retired at the end of last season due to injury, since then he has been working on his coaching with Everton boss Davie Moyes.

Alex said: "Although my time in the Premiership was short it was invaluable in seeing different ways of playing and working for six months under Davie Moyes.   I'm delighted to be back in Scottish football and it's a great opportunity for me."
