For that reason alone, it might be worth holding off until as late as possible as the result on Saturday could affect not only the team selection, but the performances of both teams. Hibs will have an eye on the Motherwell result too.

Rangers are a best priced 4/6 with quite a few bookies. That's one of the better prices seen for us this season, but it is a tricky fixture, and we still have a quite a few first choice players missing. The draw is 11/4 with Coral, and a home win can be found at 5/1 with Bet365. If we are to regain the league title (11/8 with tote) then this is the kind of match we need to be looking at winning.

HT-FT is one to look at for some value too. Rangers-Rangers is 13/8 with BlueSq and 888, Draw-Rangers is 7/2 with Sporting, Sky and Ladbrokes. Draw-Draw is 11/2 at Coral, Hibs-Hibs is 10/1 with bet365 and Boylesports and Draw-Hibs is 12/1 withbet365 and Coral. An unlikely one is Hibs-Rangers, 25/1 with most layers, or Rangers-Hibs, 54/1 with expect
Correct Score may be a decent bet this week. I doubt there will be many goals, so 1-0 (13/2), 2-0 (15/2) to Rangers, 1-1 (13/2) or 1-0 Hibs (13/1) covers quite a spread.

Guess who is shortest price to be First Scorer? No prizes for that one, Kris Boyd is only a best 9/2 with BetFred. Last week's opener, Andrius Velicka is 11/2 with PaddyPower, Hibs' Fletcher is 10/1 with extrabet, Steven Davis is 18/1 with Bet365, Pedro Mendes is 16/1 in quite a few places, and Davie Weir is 40/1 with BetFred.

If you fancy there will be some goals scored, SkyBet are offering 4/5 for over 2½ goals. Under 2½ is 21/20 in a few places.

The big-guns in England are missing from League action this weekend. 3 of them are in the FA Cup Semis at Wembley, and Liverpool have the weekend off. Saturday's clash sees Arsenal play Chelsea. Both were at home in Europe this week, but Chelsea undoubtedly had the harder 90 minutes. Arsenal are 21/10, Chelsea are 8/5 and the draw is 11/5.

In Sunday's clash Man Utd return from Portugal and are 4/5 to beat Everton. The Toffees are 9/2 and the draw is 5/2. Both these games are played to a finish, so if you place a bet, make sure you know if its a 90 minute price, or a price for the entire match.

Happy, and lucky, Punting
